In one form or another, Pol has been exploring the worlds of visual expression for more than 35 years. Born in Montréal, Canada, Pol spent the first ten years of his professional career in front of the camera, travelling the world as a professional model. After a decade of modeling, Pol turned his focus to graphic design. For ten years, he was an art director and co-founder of KO Creation, an award-winning design studio in Montréal. Following a successful career in design – and with encouragement from friends, clients and peers – Pol decided to pursue his lifelong passion for photography.
Pol’s vision is to capture the intrinsic beauty of his subjects. He seeks to imbue each setting with an emotive power, creating images that are both precise and provocative, controlling motion while expressing the vividness of every environment.
